Uganda
Our ministry in Uganda began when we had to relocate there due to the insecurities in South Sudan. Our first experience in Uganda was helping a missionary on the field with his ministry when he had to bring his wife home for medical attention. We were there at that ministry for 7 months and saw many souls saved through the church and with gospel outreach. The Lord used this time in this ministry to bring our level of confidence as missionaries to a new level.
Currently in Uganda we have a satellite location of our Bible college at Nebbi Baptist Church where the pastor is Stanley Onyutha. Pastor Stanley began Nebbi Baptist more than 13 years ago because he had a burden for his own people. He now has a thriving church in that area and a school where more than 400 students attend everyday.
Our future vision for Uganda is to continue partnering with local fundamental independent Baptist pastors to place the Bible college in their local churches and our prayer is that these men will reach out into their areas and plant an indigenous independent Baptist church, as we assist them in doing so.
We also desire to have a base for Gateway Baptist Ministries in Uganda where the pastors and their families will be able to attend a one year pastoral training program with hopes that this will better equip these families for their ministries.
